Gnosyart Limited was founded in 2008, to promote artists worldwide, through its’ online art gallery and portal, art physical locations, art networks, and art agents.
Gnosyart.com is the first promotional website in Cyprus, exclusively dedicated to Art!
George Roushas, Anka Morarou, Yiannis Chrysanthou and Maria Yiannoura are the founders and managing partners of Gnosyart. Several years ago, while Maria was studying art in “Belle arti Italy”, she noticed that her classmates were having trouble starting their art careers. Many of the gifted students she knew were unable to find a gallery to sell their work upon graduation, and as a result, took jobs in completely unrelated fields.
When Maria, George, Yiannis and Anka met in Rotaract club of Nicosia, they shared an interest in supporting the art world by successfully organizing “The Nicosia art festival 2006” with over 90 artists. The above four often discussed the difficult transition from art school to the art business, art promotion and the lack of reasonably priced original artwork. Ultimately, they discovered a solution to these problems; Gnosyart.com helps art students begin their careers, established artists to develop their careers and offers customers access to affordable original artwork.
